Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of these terms
By creating an account or using Belvedere AI, you agree to these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you don't agree, don't use the service.
2. What Belvedere AI does
Belvedere AI lets you forward your phone number to our system, which answers incoming calls using an AI assistant — either a clone of your own voice or a stock voice you choose — screens callers according to rules you configure, and records and transcribes the resulting calls for your review.
3. Your account
You must be at least 18 years old and provide accurate information when you register. You're responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity that happens under your account. The phone number you register is locked after onboarding to prevent abuse of the service — contact support if you need it changed.
4. Voice cloning consent
If you choose to clone a voice, you represent that the voice sample you provide is your own, and that you have the legal right to consent to it being cloned and used to power an AI assistant that answers calls on your behalf. Do not upload a recording of anyone else's voice without their explicit, informed consent.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to use Belvedere AI to:
- Impersonate another real person without their consent
- Harass, defraud, threaten, or deceive any caller or third party
- Place unsolicited robocalls or violate telemarketing or robocall laws
- Violate any applicable call-recording, wiretapping, or consent law
- Attempt to disrupt, reverse-engineer, or abuse the service or its infrastructure
We may suspend or terminate your account for violating this section, with or without notice.
6. Subscription, billing, and cancellation
Belvedere AI is billed as a one-time setup fee plus a recurring monthly subscription that includes a set number of minutes; usage beyond that is billed as overage at the rate shown in your dashboard. Fees are processed by Stripe and are non-refundable except where required by law. You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time from your dashboard billing settings; cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period.
7. Suspension for unpaid overages
If your account accumulates unpaid overage charges beyond the threshold shown in your dashboard, we may suspend call handling until your billing is brought current. We'll notify you before this happens wherever possible.
8. Service availability
We aim to keep Belvedere AI available and reliable, but we don't guarantee uninterrupted service. Call handling depends on third-party infrastructure (telephony carriers, our voice AI and cloning providers) that is outside our direct control.
9. Disclaimer of warranties
Belvedere AI is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose or that the AI assistant's responses will always be accurate or appropriate.
10. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Belvedere AI will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service, including missed calls, lost business, or the content of any call handled by your assistant.
11. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold Belvedere AI harmless from any claim arising from your misuse of the service, your violation of these terms, or your violation of any law, including call-recording or consent laws applicable to calls handled through your account.
12. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of California USA, without regard to its conflict-of-law principles.
13. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated by email or through the dashboard before they take effect.
